Terms & Conditions

Last updated 19 September 2026.

1. Who you are contracting with

These terms are an agreement between you and Tasteworker ("Tasteworker", "we", "us"). Tasteworker is the legal business name of the seller and provider of the Tasteworker service, operated from India; you are contracting with that seller. If you are entering these terms for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it; if you are acting as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your country.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or continuing to use Tasteworker, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. What Tasteworker provides

Tasteworker lets you upload examples of your own work into a private repository, builds a worker agent from that material, and runs jobs you or your authorised callers submit, returning generated work in a style derived from your uploads. Plans and included allowances are described on the pricing page.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your password and any API keys confidential, and for all activity carried out under your account or keys, including jobs submitted by people or software you give a key to. Jobs run by any caller count against your plan's allowance.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use Tasteworker to:

  • break any law or regulation that applies to you;
  • commit fraud, send spam, or impersonate another person or business;
  • upload material you do not have the rights to, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights;
  • produce content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative of minors, or designed to deceive people about its origin (including deepfakes of real people);
  • interfere with the security or integrity of the service — no malware, probing, penetration testing without consent, credential stuffing, rate-limit evasion or unauthorised scraping;
  • resell, redistribute or sublicense the service itself, reverse engineer it, or work around technical or plan limits.

6. Your material, generated output and AI limitations

You keep ownership of the work you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to operate the service for you. You are responsible for your briefs, for having the rights to everything you upload, for how you use generated output, and for checking output before you publish or deliver it.

Output is produced by automated language models and may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for a given purpose. It is not professional, legal, financial, medical or tax advice and should not be used in regulated contexts without qualified human review.

We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter output, and suspend accounts where use breaches these terms. If you believe material on Tasteworker infringes your rights, email support.tasteworker@gmail.com with details and we will review it and remove infringing material; repeat infringement leads to account termination.

7. Our intellectual property

Tasteworker retains all rights in the service, including its software, documentation, interface and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the plan you have selected.

8. Payment and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, taxes, invoicing, renewal, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms. Plans renew automatically for the interval you chose until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. See our Refund Policy.

9. Service level

We work to keep Tasteworker available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Where practical we will give notice and an opportunity to fix the problem. You may close your account at any time from the account page; when access ends we delete your repositories, workers and job history, so export anything you need first.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow exclusion.

You will indemnify us against claims arising from material you upload, output you publish or deliver, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

12. Changes, law and disputes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes will be heard by the courts of India.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms: email support.tasteworker@gmail.com. Billing questions are handled by Paddle at paddle.net.
